Vegan Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting On The Reducetarian Blog

Vegan Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

This vegan carrot cake recipe is simple to make and pairs beautifully with my quick and easy vegan cream cheese frosting. It has the tangy sweetness of a traditional dairy-based cream cheese frosting without the dairy, so it's perfect for your vegan, dairy-free and reducetarian friends. Find the recipe for this easy vegan carrot cake with cream cheese frosting over on the blog at Reducetarian.org.

I partnered with the Reducetarian Foundation to bring you this simple vegan carrot cake recipe that's lovely when dressed up with cranberries and walnuts for a special holiday dessert. If you aren't familiar with the Reducetarian Foundation, they are a non-profit with a mission to improve human health, protect the environment and spare farm animals from cruelty by reducing societal consumption of animal products.

What is a Reducetarian?

Reducetarians envision a world where consumption of red meat, poultry, seafood, eggs and dairy is significantly reduced. They celebrate small changes in personal and institutional behavior that collectively result in a significant difference in the world. In other words, reducetarians are inclusive of vegans, vegetarians and all people who simply wish to cut back on their use of animal products. Although I'm a vegan myself, I recognize that this isn't a manageable goal for every person. Taking actionable goals towards eating less meat, dairy and eggs is a positive step for your health, animal well-being and our environment.
