As I said in last week's Vintage Bliss Tuesdays post, I found a few treasures at Value Village recently to overhaul for my April #12monthsofdiy project. I thought I'd share a "before" shot of my thrifted goodies today in the hopes you'll head on back here tomorrow to see how I have made them over.
My husband and I really like the lamp and it was actually fine just the way we found it. But we decided to give it an extra-special, Pottery Barn-style makeover. Can you guess what we did to it? And then there's the somewhat unattractive wooden bookends and heavy bronze-look owl. No worries, we turned them into something quite lovely (if I do say so myself).
See you tomorrow for the post-diy reveal! And don't forget to share any of your thrifted finds-turned-diys (old or new) on Instagram using the hashtags #12monthsofdiy and #AprilThrifting. At the end of the month, I and the 11 other bloggers participating will share our fave thrifty diy on Instagram.
Happy thrifting friends!
