Yesterday I went to Value Village in search of special finds for my next #12monthsofdiy post. (For my previous three posts I put old toys in snow globes, reupholstered a chair with a fun bird fabric and painted an old table in a lovely teal shade. Uh yeah, the table I took these photos on actually!)
I couldn't resist buying a couple of very small items to share for today's Vintage Bliss Tuesdays post. I always seem to fall for small vases, especially when they are green, like this small vase above. I really like when the mouth of a vase is sort of small so it keeps the flowers together nicely. This vase was $1.99 so it was in the budget too.
These bronze leaf trivets are pretty and practical. Sometimes we like to put our whole meal on the table - pots and all - so everyone can just dig in when they want. These trivets will come in handy and, since they are quite thin, won't take up too much storage room. Because I'm supposed to be working on my 4-month-purge, not adding more stuff to our house!
I did find a few great items for my April #12monthsofdiy post too! Come back next Wednesday to see what goodies I found and how we make them over. In the meantime, please share any of your thrifted finds-turned-diys on Instagram using the hashtags #12monthsofdiy and #AprilThrifting. At the end of the month, 12 Canadian bloggers will share our fave thrifty diy on Instagram.
Oh, and visit yesterday's post if you would like to see how I incorporated some of my vintage and inherited dishes and vases into my new spring table decor.
Have you found any special little vintage or thrifted treasures lately?

DeleteI love Value Village but it isn't close to me so I don't get there often. I never come away empty handed though. Thank you for sharing at Vintage Charm.
