On my last trip to the thrift store, I spotted these four parfait glasses. I'm not sure how old they are or who made them, but I was excited at the prospect of new possibilities for food photos involving parfaits or ice cream. When I first set out to photograph the Coconut Yogurt, Berry and Hemp Heart Parfait for this post, I realized that my blue parfait glasses wouldn't be much help, seeing as you can't see the contents through the sides. I opted for a mason jar instead.
I really like the pattern on these parfait glasses, with the white leaves and especially the gold leaves. There's enough of a pattern to make them pretty, but you can still see a lot of the contents.
I made use of the parfait glasses once already in this Peachy Dessert Parfait post. I also really enjoy eating from them. I believe they cost about $4 at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
