My four-month purge has become a six-month+ purge and I am hesitant to buy anything more until I'm finished. So, in other words, no new thrifty finds to share this week. But I am happy to highlight some of the awesome finds that were linked up at last week's Vintage Bliss Tuesdays party.
A Vintage Green shared a look at the most adorable salt and pepper duo - the "eggs" in egg cups, above. Stories of Objects found this great, leaf-shaped Cailar Bayard absinthe spoon at the flea market. And Blue Willow House knew that this cast iron squirrel nutcracker would make a striking addition to a fall vignette. I love them all!
How do you keep up your thrifty shopping without accumulating "too much" stuff?

Seriously how cute are those salt and pepper shakers Jo. I'm still trying to purge at this house but if saw those salt and peppers shakers at a thrift store I might buy them.
ReplyDeleteMe too! :)
DeleteThe features are all very nice. I am going to do some purging myself soon. I open up kitchen cupboards and some of them are bulging! Thank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI get it! The other day I opened a cupboard and a glass fell out and broke! Still some work to do here obviously... ;)
DeleteI've put a ban on all thrift shopping unless it sparks joy (ha!) or I can use it for my blog photos. I've recently taken three huge bags to donate to the charity shops and don't want to be bringing stuff back, so now I'm limiting my visits but also being prepared with a list of stuff I need :)
ReplyDeleteYes I might also do some thrift shopping for blog photos. It's for work is then my excuse. ;) Good for you for taking another three bags. I still have to do toys, which is a tough area - so much money spent, and the kids don't want to get rid of them either.
DeleteI also didn't buy much new things lately, because my free time was very limited. But I really need :) to go to the flea market soon, it's my favorite way to relax. And I usually buy small things, so I don't have so much space related problems. :)
ReplyDeleteGood idea - buy small things! I like it! And you have such a great eye for finding cool and unusual items. :)
DeleteThanks for the feature and for hosting the party. I am sharing your post on my social media
ReplyDeleteOh that squirrel! So cute! Always fun to see what vintage treasures everyone has around the house!
ReplyDeleteI donate and eBay it!
