In the meantime, I intend to keep the Vintage Bliss Tuesdays parties swinging. Today I wanted to share this find, above, from The Adimpleate Blog. Each week I'm in awe of how beautifully the thrifty finds, like this jade green vintage fork, are photographed on the blog. Be sure to head over and take a look. I'll bet you'll find it as inspiring as I do.
Thanks to all of you who faithfully link up each week (or whenever you have new goodies to show off). Seeing your treasured finds is a highlight of the week for me.

So true Joy. It's all about the lens isn't it? I want to research that too when I replace my lost cameras.
DeleteThanks for hosting the party. Good luck on the purge.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Betty! I think I'll need the luck... ;)
DeleteThe way I do it, I do the purging bit by bit, like this week, the clothing that I have not worn for a year needs to go, next week perhaps the hardcover books, followed by the knick-knacks like cat figurines. Yet I still have a lot. The beginning of the year my resolution to adopt the mantra, 'buy less, choose well' but just the other day I bought another cat figurines. On my defense to my husband, it is a jointed statue. They are just pretty to look at, thats it, doesnt serve any other function. Oh well, I am working on my purging and to buy less.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out. I always look forward to your party.
I do a very little bit by very little bit - that's why I need to pick up the pace! Ha ha. But, yes, I do believe that constant small attempts are the way to go. Otherwise clean-ups can be so exhausting and a bit disheartening. I think if you can get rid of enough stuff, you make room for the things you really love - like your cat figurines. :) Thanks for joining in! Jo
DeleteJoann, thank you for keeping the party going. Hope you have a great week!
