Get Something Fun in the Mail (A Wantable Giveaway - CLOSED)

Seeing that we handle much of our correspondence online now, our mailboxes are generally full of bills, aren't they? Wouldn't it be nice to get an exciting package in the mail every month? Wantable is a fun, personalized subscription box service offering three types of boxes: makeup, accessories or intimates. Back in November, I reviewed an intimates box.

I loved getting the box so much I jumped at the chance to try out the accessories box. Each accessories box comes with three to four boutique accessories. Based on my preferences I received the lovely items you see above - the Matilda necklace, Mollie earrings and Roxanna scarf. The earrings are my favourite item - they feature clusters of rose coloured stones with tiny rhinestones for sparkle. The scarf isn't something I'd likely pick out on my own, but I think that's a good thing. I tend to be conservative with my accessories and I like the combo of the animal print with studs. The information sheet accompanying the pieces suggests pairing the scarf with a smoky eye and nude lips to look "fierce."

The Matilda necklace pairs modern style with vintage-inspired details, featuring gold tone with grey, onyx and crimson stones. The stylists at Wantable recommend wearing it with an oversized sweater to take a basic casual look to the next level.

While the contents of your box will be a surprise, you do need to provide the curators at Wantable with some hints about what kind of accessories you love best. Once you have selected the type of box you want and clicked "Let's Get Started," you'll answer a few questions about your jewelry and accessory preferences.

Is your style classic, glam, rock 'n roll or boho? You'll see a bunch of pictures that correspond with each style to help you decide (my favourite is boho). For each style or product shown, you can set the sliding scale from "love" to "like" to "dislike." You are more likely to receive items you love and you will never receive items you dislike. For example, I prefer not to get bangles because I have large hands and the bracelets may not fit over my hand.

Each month, Wantable's in-house and guest curators hand-pick products from a huge selection of quality boutique, specialty and premium vendors. They use each customer's unique profile and purchase history to select a custom box of full-size products. You can choose to subscribe for $36 a month or buy a single box for $40. Subscriptions are shipped automatically and can be cancelled or skipped anytime. Please note that Canadians are charged a handling fee, provincial tax and duty.
