 I love my camera, but I hate my camera bag! It's bulky, it's heavy, it conflicts with my purse and, as a mother, I have way too much going on to tote that thing around on my shoulder. That's why I was excited to discover Camera Coats. These sleek, lightweight, camera-shaped bags make a great gift for photographers and any mom who likes to carry around a camera.

Camera Coats creator Emily Ashby developed these stylish bags after a family trip. Weighed down with bags, strollers and car seats while getting on a plane, she found that her camera bag was just one bag too many! She decided to use her child's video game bag instead. She developed the idea to create a "coat" for her camera to protect it from spills, sun, rain and sand. Camera Coats are padded, water resistant and made in the U.S.A. Your own camera strap acts as the Camera Coat's strap and, with a velcro closure, Camera Coats are made to fit a variety of DSLR cameras. Consult the sizing chart for details.     Interesting! I probably would carry my "nice" camera around with me more often if I had something like this. I know they are pretty tough but I still get worried about banging it around on things while trying to keep up with a rambunctious almost-3yo.
