Weekend Update

Jolene "trapped" behind some boxes during a clean-up of my daughter's room.

Our plans for the weekend have been pushed aside while we deal with a sick doggy. Jolene has been unwell for a few days and she no longer wants water or food. Since she is normally a voracious eater, we are concerned.

She went to see the vet today. She had a shot to settle her tummy and she is taking antibiotics now. We are waiting for the results of a blood test and we're hoping she'll be hungry at dinnertime. Please send her your good thoughts.

    Sorry to hear that Jolene isn't feeling well. One of our dogs hasn't been eating much lately - maybe they both have some sort of doggie bug. Or maybe it's the heat. Whatever the reason, hope Jolene is feeling better soon :-)

      Thanks Kelly. Jolene usually tries to steal the food off people's plates so this is very strange for her. She is starting to come around, though. She's drinking water and eating a bit of toast. ;)

    Hope she continues to do better. She has a sweet expression in her "trapped" picture. Sad when our pets seem to be suffering...

      She has been super cute while she's sick too. At first I thought she was just better behaved than usual. ;)
