Labels & Decals by KiDECALS (Giveaway - CLOSED)


If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know that I'm on an uphill climb towards beautifying and organizing my home. I had some help recently when the lovely people at KiDECALS offered to send me some of their personalized labels and decals.

I selected a pretty pink initial for my daughter's room, above. It is the perfect size for the area above her desk. Putting it on the wall also gave me the incentive to organize her desk and the area around it. She loves to write (like her mom), which is great, but she also tosses each piece of paper aside when she's done. I removed an entire box of paper for recycling.

You will be happy to know that these decals are phthalate-free and won't harm your walls. The self-adhesive material can be removed easily. Just be careful you don't stick the skinny bits to the other skinny bits like I did!



I chose this blue initial decal for my son. He was really happy when he came home from school and spotted it on the wall. It adds a nice, personalized touch to his room.


I also got something for myself. These custom pantry labels in a pretty green chevron design have helped me to organize the ever-challenging pantry area. Because you can choose the words to put on them, they can be used for closets, playrooms and bedrooms, or any area of your home that needs some extra organizing help.


Don't you love the look of an organized pantry? I was able to use these waterproof, dishwasher-safe labels on the vintage jars that my mom gave me.

    I used to use stick on labels for things, but then I change my storage bins around so much, that I just went with a printed label on cardstock and stuffed that in the see-through bins. I use canning jars from my mom too ... mostly for sewing notions. I do like the initials for the kids' rooms though! You kill me with all this organization Jo!!! Wendy

      I know what you mean. I'm always rethinking the way I have things organized! Then the labels have to be moved.

      I like the sewing notions in jars idea too. Seeing what's in them is convenient!

      Organizing is my big summer goal, Wendy. Is it ever finished?

    I am not a huge fan of decals but I think they both, especially the ones in your daughter's room, are super cute. I do like the labels on the jars though...now I must go thrifting to find jars!!
