Last week, in Swimming and Shopping, I showed you some of the garage sale and thrift store goodies I got while visiting the small town near my parents' house.
Here are some more of the little treasures I purchased that day. Above, one of my favourite finds, this sweet little rose jar is now holding cotton pads in my bathroom.
I will be using this charming jug to serve...you guessed it...maple syrup.
I now have three liquor sets like this one, with different patterns on each. I was drawn to the images of ships and carriages on this lovely set, which was made in France.
Here's a closer look at the pictures.
After I admired this tiny lamp at the thrift store, my niece bought it for my birthday. Others made fun of it, but I stick by it!
At the end of the weekend, I also walked away with this vintage
As you can see, it has a pot, lid, water tray and candle holder. It would be great for keeping an entree warm at a party, now doubt.
Tomorrow, I'm sharing a look at the process of taking these photos, using a present I got from my husband for my birthday. I hope you'll get a chance to come back and take a look!
