Weekend Update

We have had such a busy weekend so far. We went to Niagara Falls on Friday for a Ringo Starr show and the exciting Nik Wallenda falls walk.
On our way home yesterday, we visited my sister and her family (and their lovely pool) and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
Today meant Father’s Day breakfast in bed for my husband, followed by some gifts.
Visit me on Twitter or Instagram (@ziajojo) for some of the photos.
My sister and I managed to squeeze in some thrift store shopping yesterday. Here is a preview picture of the happy finds I am posting here on the blog tomorrow.
In the meantime, happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there, including my dad, Peter, and my father-in-law, Giuseppe! Love ya!

  3. You say "Niagara Falls" like it's something so everyday. The rest of us only ever see it in films and on tv! :)

    1. I have to admit, I kind of take it for granted. We go a few times a year. It is pretty beautiful though! :)

  4. Niagara Falls???!!! Tell me everything! What is it like? I picture going there and feeling sort of faint by the vastness of it all. But, I really do wish to take a visit! Happy Fathers Day! (Despite the fact we are both not male or fathers? O.o. Lol.) That is so cute to do breakfast in bed! I have always wanted to do that for my parents at some point, but they are both fairly picky and late eaters :p.

    1. Cara, I can't remember the first time I saw Niagara Falls, because I was a child. Now I am used to it. I always see it from the Canadian side, where there is lots of people, lots of hotels and a street with a fun park kind of theme. I try to imagine what it would have been like before all the people and the buildings. Just walking through the woods and hearing that roar, and then coming across the waterfalls. It is amazing. Seeing someone walk across Horseshoe Falls is a first for me though. ;) It's something my kids will always remember. I hope you visit some time.

Maybe you can just bring your parents a coffee. ;)
