A couple of days ago, I told you just how much I love office supplies. I have the same fascination with paper products. Greeting cards, invitations, journals, party decor - it's all good. With the profusion of paper straws and washi tape on the web lately, I know I'm not alone.
With my daughter's birthday coming up in October, I have been coveting the party decor at Minted. Minted is perhaps best known for its line of fresh, modern family photo Christmas cards. But they also have a whole range of products created by a global community of independent graphic designers.
For birthdays and other special occasions, Minted offers a beautiful selection of all-in-one party decor packages including bunting, note cards, confetti and more. I know my daughter would love the retro floral garden party decor pictured above.
In order to discover the work of great designers throughout the world, Minted holds monthly design challenges for stationery, invitations, calendars and other categories, inviting graphic designers to enter. The Minted community selects the best designs and winning designers earn cash prizes and commissions.
Minted's party store also has fabulous cake plates and apothecary jars. I am eyeing this milk glass cake plate. This classic jadeite stand is hand-pressed in the US, chip resistant and dishwasher safe. It's perfect for displaying party cupcakes!
Minted also has a selection of limited edition art prints, created by independent artists and printed on archival paper. I am a sucker for wall art. I only wish I had more wall space!
Of course, Minted also sells paper straws and washi tape. I can't wait to finally join in on that trend!
Do you love paper products too? What do you use washi tape for? (I really want to know!)

I loooove paper products but have no talent to do anything with them. I bought lots of gorgeous scrapbooking paper but do nothing with it as I don't do scrapbooking or anything that remotely involves using a scissors with crafts. I still love the stationery sets I had as a child (long gone), and I always looked after all my paper products including books. When my husband went to Japan I wanted some washi paper knowing I would do nothing with it.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same with beautiful fabric and prints, I have zero skills with sewing but being in a gorgeous fabric shop, especially vintage or Japanese, makes me go weak at the knees. Looove it all!
You are so funny! I'm the same way, actually, I love it all...not sure what I'd do with it though. ;)
DeleteLooooove. I hoard them and sometimes I love them to much to release them into the wild. x
ReplyDeleteI get it! Sometimes they're just too pretty to use! :)
DeleteHah!! Well, you know I'm hooked on the washi!! Of course, I use it in my SMASHing, I also use it on envelopes and packages, I'm thinking I could make tags. I just read about someone making bookmarks for their child's class. Better get on the bandwagon!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you every time I typed the word "washi" Jill. ;) I know you love it! You'll have to come over one day and actually force me to get going with it!
DeleteUmmm, love those paper straws! Childhood memories.
ReplyDeleteAren't they festive and fun? :)
Deleteloved it!

ReplyDeleteI love all those things too! Why, I don't know. ;)
DeleteI will join the chorus of paper product junkies. :) Whenever I got to Europe, I end up bringing back more notebooks and stationary than anything else! I have also been coveting that exact jadite cake stand for YEARS. Someday I'll pull the trigger and order one. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCool, I bet they have different stuff in Europe.
DeleteYou should get the cake plate. Treat yourself. You've been so busy working. ;)
